Break me some lines!

It's certainly not an
arbitrary choice.  Where the line
breaks needs to have some purpose, some

cause for pause.

Perhaps the line needs to stand on its own because what it says
is critical or the condition
you are trying to create commands juxtaposition.  Ice cream

come in many flavours, so why not poetry?  Music,
in its bug like scrawls, its hung
over notes, its quarter beats and full

stops,

tells the reader (the blower, the beater), where
the punctuation is.  Poets have lots to learn about rhythm
from their strumming and pounding compadres. Poets

have to learn to break
dance
on pages.
